August 15, 2009 Fortuna… Rocha’s Automotive has partnered with Napa Auto Parts to become the only Napa Auto Care Center in Fortuna. The locally-owned business has been serving Fortuna since 2006 and although they’ve been at their new location for two and a half years, people still come in daily who had not realized they were there. |

March 26, 2010 Hop on Down to Main Street for the 2nd Annual Spring Fling Carnival Fortuna… Following the Easter Egg Hunt at Rohner Park at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 3rd, hundreds of kids will flock to downtown Fortuna to play games and see the attractions. This event was such a huge success last year that business owners and families are excited to see it come back. Last year parents called the Spring Fling “a fun and cheap event for this economy…truly about the kids.” |

March 26, 2010 FORTUNA… The Easter Bunny is hopping into Fortuna's Rohner Park Saturday April 3rd and will leave behind hundreds of colored eggs for kids to find. Hidden among the colored eggs are 65 plastic eggs that announce “You’ve won an Easter Basket!” to the lucky kids who find them. The Easter Egg Hunt will start at 10:00 am sharp on Saturday, April 3rd at Rohner Park, so come early! |

September 25, 2009 Fortuna Celebrates 100 years of Apples on Saturday, October 3rd FORTUNA…One hundred years ago a man named Ernest Clifton Clendenen started one of Fortuna’s most well-known businesses, Clendenen’s Cider Works. In 1984, after 75 years of being in business, Clendenen’s wanted to celebrate its continuing success with the 1st Annual Apple Harvest Festival. The event quickly became a fun tradition for the whole community. |
