Kids Free Movie Boxes

 

FBID, in partnership with the City of Fortuna, would like to encourage community members to Shop Fortuna for the holidays.

 

In the past, the Kids Free Movies Holiday Event was hosted on a weekend in December for our community members to enjoy as a thank you for doing business in town. This year, due to COVID-19, we have to do things differently.

 

Rather than having community members collect passes at local businesses this year, they have the opportunity to enter our Kids Free Movie Drawing.

 

They will be able to enter to win one (1) of the forty-five (45), forty dollars ($40) Fortuna Theater Gift Certificates at our roving holiday boxes in local businesses. FBID will post the locations of the boxes on social media for community members to swing by and enter to win. We will ask that businesses hosting the boxes also post on their social media that they have a box for a few days to do their part to help drive traffic. FBID will move the boxes a few days after a business has them to another business. If you have a business license in the City of Fortuna, you are welcome to host a box for a few days, please let us know if you want a box and we will drop one off!

 

ALL 45 winners will be drawn on December 22, 2020, and posted on the FBID website and on our FBID Facebook page.

 

One entry is permitted per visit to a Fortuna business!

 

This giveaway is thanks to the City of Fortuna and the Fortuna Business Improvement District.

 

* Many new movie release dates are being pushed back to January/February, but the Fortuna Theater will open as soon as it is safe and they feel comfortable opening to the public.
